Richmondshire District Council

Area Partnerships funding

A scheme that helps fund community projects across Richmondshire has reopened for business.

The District Council’s five Area Partnerships each have £10,000 to award to local projects. So far 43 schemes have been supported this year, but there is still funding up for grabs.

Launched eleven years ago the funding initiative has seen grants awarded to parish councils, community and sports groups for everything from large equipment purchases to smaller community noticeboards. The £31,462 awarded so far this year has gone to support a variety of projects including speed matrix boards, notice boards, an emergency generator and junior cricket club equipment to name but a few.

The five partnerships cover Upper Dales, Central (including Richmond), Lower Wensleydale, Garrison and North Richmondshire.

The new round of funding closes at midnight on 11 December 2022. To find out more and to apply visit our Area partnerships page or email grants@richmondshire.gov.uk.
