One day left to apply
Richmondshire businesses have just one day left to apply to a funding stream to help them recoup losses incurred through the coronavirus pandemic.
All applications for the discretionary grant scheme must be completed by close of play tomorrow (June 23). And that must include all the necessary support material: proof of lost income and evidence of fixed buildings related costs.
The Richmondshire District Council run scheme is aimed at businesses that were trading on 11 March 2020, have high ongoing fixed building related costs, and that can demonstrate they have suffered significant losses as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. They will not have been eligible for previous grants.
The online application form is available on our Discretionary Grant Scheme page. Applicants must include evidence of fixed building related costs, such as a lease or rental agreement and loss of income, such as a set of accounts or tax return.
Grant payments will be made to businesses as soon as possible after June 23. The Council may decide to open a further window for applications if funds allow.
