Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant
Richmondshire District Council has launched its new grant scheme to support hospitality, leisure and accommodation businesses.
The Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant (OHLG) recognises the effect the omicron variant has had on these business sectors. The District Council is administering the grant on behalf of the Government.
It supports businesses that offer in-person services - where the main service and activity takes place in a fixed rate-paying premise, in the hospitality, leisure and accommodation sectors - with one-off grants of up to £6,000.
The closing date for applications is 18 March 2022.
For businesses that are not eligible for this grant and can demonstrate that they have been severely affected by the ongoing impacts of the Covid restrictions and Omicron, the Council is currently developing a further ARG scheme to try to help. This grant will be subject to the funding available. Further details will be available before the end of January.
