New lockdown business grants available
Two new grants aimed at Richmondshire businesses closed as a result of the current lockdown restrictions are now available.
The District Council launches the Local Restrictions Support Grant (Closed) Addendum: 5 January onwards (LRSG (C) A) and the Closed Businesses Lockdown Payment (CBLP) today (Jan 27).
They are added to the suite of grants set up to help businesses and organisations through the coronavirus pandemic.
The new Government grants cover the period 5 January to 15 February 2021 inclusive, and are for business ratepayers that have had to close their business premises in line with the requirements of this national lockdown.
For businesses that operate within Richmondshire but are not business ratepayers, as well as business ratepayers that have not been mandated to close their premises, but are significantly affected by the lockdown restrictions applications for the Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) 5 January 2021 to 15 February 2021 are also now online.
