A special business breakfast is being hosted in Richmondshire next month as part of a new initiative to develop regional supply chains.
Richmondshire District Council is a delivery partner for The Supply Chain Network Project which aims to help businesses identify supply chain opportunities and give support to help secure them.
The breakfast briefing – on March 10 at the Holiday Inn, Scotch Corner – is aimed at any organisation that works directly with businesses - from accountants to marketing consultants, funders and support services. It runs from 8.30am to 10am.
The Supply Chain Network has been created to raise the aspirations of small and medium sized businesses in the district by helping them to identify supply chain opportunities and ensure they are well-equipped and supported to put them in the best position to secure them. The project, which is supported by European Regional Development Fund, provides businesses with information updates, and access to specialist advice that will help support their growth and development.
“Supply chains are often complex and ever-changing making it impossible to predict what support and information will be required for every sector or service,” said Business Manager, Sue White.
“We are looking to build connections with business support consultants and sector specialists, whether an organisation or an individual, to enable the project to support regional businesses with a range of services and specialists as the demand arises.”
