Richmondshire District Council

Flood recovery efforts

Today officers from Richmondshire District Council and North Yorkshire County Council, along with volunteers from Ready for Anything and the British Red Cross, will be in the Bellerby, Reeth, Fremington and Grinton areas.

They will be gathering information and assisting residents to get a full picture of the situation.

This will then inform the arrangements to start the clean-up process of the affected areas.

Skips are being sent out, and full skips will be taken away and replaced as soon as possible.  Can we remind you not to place silt or really large objects into these skips (please note that white goods can be placed in the skips). The area around the skips must be kept clear so the skips can be picked up.

Richmondshire District Council officers are also in the Reeth Memorial Hall to support and assist the relief effort.
