Richmondshire residents can now subscribe to the council’s garden waste collection service.
The service will run fortnightly from 25 February to 29 November 2019, with one additional collection in January 2020 for Christmas trees and garden waste. It costs £22 for the first bin licence and £15 for all additional green bins.
New and existing customers can subscribe quickly and easily online by visiting Richmondshire District Council's website and completing the online form, or by signing up for a “My Account”. Customers can also call the council on 01748 829100.
Once signed up to the scheme, subscribers can find their garden waste collection dates on the council’s bin collection calendar.
Residents can also sign up for email alerts. Alerts include information regarding disruption to collection services due to bad weather and bank holidays.
Households can join the scheme at any time during the year for the same price. Any residents who choose not to use the scheme are asked to compost their garden waste or take it to a household waste recycling centre.
