Applications are now welcome for the North and East Yorkshire Building Excellence Awards 2019. The largest business to business awards recognise quality in all types of building projects. If you’ve used local authority building control for your project, then enter the awards to gain recognition and increase your reputation within the industry. The closing date for this year’s nominations is set as Friday 29 March 2019.
The 2019 ceremony is being held on Wednesday 19 June at The Principal Hotel, York, with this year’s guest presenter TV’s Martin Roberts. Martin is famous for TV shows such as ‘Homes under the Hammer’ and ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me out of Here!’
Robert Harper, Head of Building Control said “The awards are a great way to showcase your quality of design and construction”.
The downloadable application form, list of categories and further information is available from our North Yorkshire Building Control Partnership website.
The Council regions covered by the Awards are the City of York, Craven District, East Riding of Yorkshire, Harrogate Borough and the North Yorkshire Building Control Partnership areas (Hambleton, Richmondshire, Ryedale, Scarborough and Selby).
The only requirements are that the development must have been overseen by Local Authority Building Control and have been completed at least one year prior to the event.
Anyone can nominate a development, as long as all members of the project team are recognised on the nomination form.
Submissions are to be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, with any queries able to be discussed over the phone on 01347 822703.
