Honorary titles awarded to seven Richmondshire Councillors
Seven Richmondshire District Councillors with a combined services of 189 years were awarded honorary status this week.
At the last meeting of the authority’s Full Council they were made honorary aldermen and alderwomen by their colleagues. The honour is bestowed in recognition of the length of service given on behalf of the council and the community.
Awards went to:
- Paul Cullen for 40 years service
- Campbell Dawson for 32 years service
- Helen Grant for 25 years service
- Clive World for 28 years service
- Yvonne Peacock for 24 years service
- Patricia Middlemiss for 20 years service
- Stuart Parsons for 20 years service
