The Market Place will be closed to all vehicles (both parking and access) on Thursday 26 September 2019.
Road closures from 5.30am to midnight on Thursday 26 September
- Kings Street
- Finkle Street
- Market Place (from the bottom of Trinity Square to the top of the Market Place)
- Tower Street
Road closures from 5.30am to 6pm on Thursday 26 September
- Rosemary Lane
- Market Place (bottom end)
- Victoria Road North car park
During the Market Place closure Frenchgate and Millgate will remain open to through traffic only - parking is prohibited.
Rolling road closure
The race route, from Richmond town centre through to Catterick and onto Leyburn will be subject to a 45-60 minute rolling road closure. For Richmond town, the scheduled rolling road closure is planned for 11.40am until 12.40pm.

Public transport and hackney carriages
Buses will not be able to access the Market Place on either Wednesday 25 or Thursday 26 September.
Two temporary bus stops will be located on Queens Street for both days. One bus stop will be situated next to Friary Gardens and the second will be near to the roundabout next to Norman F Brown Estate Agents.
A temporary taxi rank will also be situated on Queens Road. This will be located alongside the Wetherspoon pub.
