Title: Tenancy Relations Assistant

Salary: Grade 6 (SCP 18-20), £22,369 to £23,194 per annum pro rata

Contract type: Permanent

Role

The Council is seeking to appoint a part-time (14 hours per week) Tenancy Relations Assistant to work alongside the Tenancy Relations Officers and Housing Management Officers within the Landlord Service.

The post holder will be required to provide a pro-active estate management and tenancy enforcement service with regard to council tenancies. Duties will include responding to reports of anti-social behaviour, which will range from fly-tipping incidents to neighbour disputes and breaches of tenancy. You will also be required to undertake inspections to communal areas of general needs flats to ensure compliance with the tenancy agreement and prevailing legislation.

The post holder should have experience of dealing with anti-social behaviour, have an understanding of community safety issues, together with the ability to be assertive when necessary, and be a good team player.
