An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Landlord Services team.
Applications are invited from suitable, qualified persons, with a sound knowledge of building construction and maintenance, to manage the operational day-to-day requirements of a busy repairs and maintenance service.
The post holder will possess a relevant qualification within the building industry, and ideally have some staff management experience. The role will involve the effective management of contractors, and maintain close liaison with social services in relation to aids and adaptations.
The successful candidate can expect a varied workload, including the use of software systems in the monitoring of performance, with the ability to analyse data and provide reports as required from time to time. They will also be responsible for the co-ordination of investigations of compensation claims from tenants in relation to alleged repairing issues and disrepair claims.
The post holder will also be responsible for the development and monitoring of safe working practices, methods of working and risk assessments, undertaking staff performance reviews, including identifying training needs and appropriate training providers.
