Qualifications

1.  GCSE level education, including English and Maths
at grade A-C or equivalent. (A)

a. IRRV Revenues and/or Benefits qualification
or equivalent. (A)

                    

Experience

2.  Experience of working in an administrative and/or
customer services role. (A, I)

 

b. Experience of working in a revenues
environment. (A)

Knowledge

3.  Basic understanding of the billing and collection of
Council Tax and Business Rates. (I)

c. Understanding of Council Tax/NNDR legislation. (A)

d. Knowledge of computer software systems. (A)

Personal aptitudes and skills

4.  Good communication skills, including ability to
explain complex issues to a wide range of audience. (A, I)

5.  Ability to analyse and interpret financial and
technical information for presentation to others. (A, I)

6.  Decision making skills. (A, I)

7.  Ability to work with others and build positive relationships. (A, I)

8.  Ability to problem solve (A,I)
