Richmondshire District Council has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and flexible individual to provide administrative support to their small but busy HR team on a fixed term, part time-basis.
The successful candidate will undertake various administrative tasks, supporting the HR team in all aspects of their work where required. But the main focus is in supporting the recruitment process, such as preparing applications for shortlisting, inviting candidates for interview, co-ordinating interview schedules, and liaising with applicants.
Excellent communication skills are essential so that everyone involved is kept up to date. As is a high level of attention to detail, as you will also be producing recruitment documentation such as offer letters and requesting employment references. IT skills are required so that you can ensure all our records and trackers are up to date and we can ensure a smooth transition of new starters to our payroll function.
We are a small, responsive team and you will need to be able to prioritise effectively to manage a demanding workload.
The post is offered on a part-time, fixed term basis of 18.5 hours a week. The preferred working pattern includes Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday or slightly longer days on a Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.
