Richmondshire District Council is developing its Environmental Health Service and is looking to recruit an Environmental Health Team Leader to lead the team and bring forward change.
Applicants for the post will be expected to assist the Manager in the strategic and operational management of the team in the areas of either Residential or Commercial service delivery and will be expected to carry an operational workload.
You will be working within a team of officers that undertake a wide range of duties including the investigation and control of noise, pollution and statutory nuisances, inspection of permitted processes and contaminated land and private sector housing enforcement, as well as consultations in relation to licensed premises and planning applications and enforcement of standards at caravan sites. The opportunity to assist with other Environmental Health functions relating to commercial properties and infectious diseases may also occur.
