Salary: Grade 4 (SCP 12-14), £18,933-£19,312 per annum

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our small team delivering democratic services.
This is an interesting and varied position providing regular support to the Committee Team and our Elected Councillors involving a range of administrative tasks and supporting the Council’s scrutiny function. You will also support rolling electoral registration and the administration of local and national elections. You will have direct interaction with Councillors, voters and internal customers so strong customer service skills are needed.
You will need a high level of computer literacy and be able to work with several programmes and databases. You will have excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to produce accurate and concise information to strict deadlines. We are looking for someone who is organised, flexible and resilient, with the ability to respond to pressure at peak times and work as part of a team.
