The Environmental Health and Licensing section regulate, engage, and enforce on a range of subjects including taxi, alcohol and animal licensing, food hygiene, health and safety and private water supplies, pollution control, air quality, contaminated land, as well as private sector housing issues, public health, and nuisance complaints.
The team have also been at the forefront of the response to the recent coronavirus pandemic.
We are looking for an individual with an interest in public protection issues who can assist with the administrative tasks. In return you will develop not only the skills required to work in an office environment, but a good overview of the functions listed above which will stand you in good stead for future career opportunities.
