The council produced a set of revised caravan site licence conditions to be attached to the licence document of holiday, touring, permanent residential and tented sites and; an associated enforcement policy.
The consultation commenced on 18 July 2014. We tried to encourage all businesses to give their views by directly contacting the lead officer via email, phone or by writing to the council.
The documents for consultation were sent out to businesses that have an existing site licence with the council, local ward and parish council members and local stakeholders.
A request was made for the consultation period to be extended to take into account the busy trading season. This was agreed and the consultation was extended until 29 September 2014.
A press release was issued to encourage views from members of the public to be submitted through the council's website.
