Richmondshire Coronavirus Community Grant Scheme

The Richmondshire Coronavirus Community Grant Scheme is a new grant scheme that has been set up to help grass root organisations provide key support to vulnerable Richmondshire residents through the coronavirus pandemic. The scheme will help community groups across the district with cash handouts from £50 to £500. Apply for the Coronavirus Community Grant.

Community Investment Fund

The Community Investment Fund is designed to support community projects or activities taking place within one of five growth areas of Richmondshire. With a total allocation of £300,000, applications will be considered on a quarterly basis. Applications for grants should be for no less than £1,000 and no more than £50,000. Applications requesting £5,000 and above must be supported by a business plan.

External grant schemes 

Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust

Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust, in partnership with Two Ridings Community Foundation, have made £40,000 available through emergency grants for community groups across Richmondshire and Craven responding to COVID-19.

Grants of up to £2000 are available to support community and voluntary groups dealing with emerging issues in the community as a result of the continuing threat of Coronavirus. The money could be used for providing food/medicine deliveries to vulnerable people, equipment to enable home-working for community groups, revenue costs and more.
