Small Business Grant scheme
Richmondshire District Council's Small Business Grant scheme is open for applications. The scheme has been established to encourage the formation of new enterprises and stimulate growth of established small businesses. The grants are targeted at new business start-ups and businesses less than 36 months old with no more than five employees.
Before you can apply for this scheme you must have had a one to one appointment with your business growth advisor. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange this appointment.

Funded membership to the Federation of Small Businesses
Small businesses and the self employed, who are based in Richmondshire, and are not already members of the Federation of Small Businesses can access funding to give them their first year of membership for free. Normally membership starts at £147.
Membership offers access to the Federation of Small Businesses' comprehensive business support including tax and employment protection, a legal helpline, as well as legal hub and debt recovery services. The Federation of Small Businesses Care provides access to a personal nurse advisor and the Federation of Small Businesses workplace pensions provide advice and guidance. There are also practical resources to help your recovery from the pandemic, as well as opportunities for networking and putting your business issues forward to the Government in policy lobbying.
A website log in or app download allows members access to benefits at their fingertips. Established over 40 years ago, to help members succeed in business, the Federation of Small Businesses is a not-for-profit and non-party political organisation of experts in business. To access your free first year of membership email Nick.Bradley@fsb.org.uk with the subject line RiDC and provide your contact details.
A membership advisor from the Federation of Small Businesses will be in touch to give you a summary of member benefits and to unlock the funding.
