We have a dedicated business and community team working to support businesses across the district.
Our economic development action plan has three main priorities:
Enabling opportunities for growth
Ensuring that we and our partners are doing all we can to stimulate growth and promote the area as a place for businesses.
Supporting local businesses and tourism
Ensuring that the businesses in the district, small scale and within the tourism and service sectors, can thrive and grow.
Improving connectivity
Ensuring good connectivity in terms of transport as well as digitally to improve links between businesses, customers and the workforce.
