Coronavirus - Support for apprenticeships
Further support has been announced through the Plan for Jobs Programme for employers looking to take on new apprentices. Businesses will be able to apply for a new payment of £3,000 for each apprentice they take on between 1 April and 30 September.
The Department for Education (DfE) has produced a coronavirus response guidance document for apprentices, employers, training providers and assessment organisations. The DfE coronavirus helpline can be reached on 0800 046 8687.

The National Skills Academy have moved apprenticeship advice, support and toolkits for small businesses online. This includes free master-classes.

Apprenticeship Wage Subsidy Scheme 2019-21
The Apprenticeship Wage Subsidy Scheme 2019-21 is open for applications. If you are considering employing an apprentice then apply as soon as possible within the deadline dates given below.
If you wish to apply to the scheme please complete our online application form. The application includes eligibility criteria so please read through this carefully before applying.
The funding is for new apprentices only. To be eligible for this funding scheme, the apprentice/s must not have started their training. The apprentice/s must only start their training once a funding offer letter is received through this scheme. Please note the deadline for applications and the decision making process below. Applications will only be approved after each deadline has passed. Please consider these dates when deciding apprenticeship start dates.
