Visit us - community offices
Please note that our offices in Richmond, Reeth and Hawes have reopened to members of the public as of 2 December for urgent business only. You will need to book an appointment first before visiting our offices in Richmond and Reeth by calling 01748 829100. There is no need to book an appointment to attend our Hawes office.

SignLive - support for British Sign Language users
We have now partnered with BSL Online Interpreting Service, SignLive. This enables residents from the deaf community to contact the council ‘live’ via a professional British Sign Language interpreter free of charge.
This free service can be used when calling us from your home or if you are visiting Mercury House in Richmond. The service is available Monday to Thursday from 8.45am to 5.15pm, and Fridays from 8.45am to 4.45pm.
