Welcome to Richmondshire Community Safety Partnership
Message from Liz Smith, the Chairperson of the Richmondshire Community Safety Partnership
''We are a statutory body formed in 1998, whose purpose is to tackle crime, disorder and drugs issues in Richmondshire. As a partnership, we work together to make Richmondshire safer. There are 6 compulsory partners; the District Council, the County Council, the Police, the Police Authority, the Fire Service and the Primary Care Trust. There are also a number of other partenrs including several from the voluntary sector. The Partnerships is part of the LSP and we are working to achieve the ''safe places'' part of Richmondshire's Community Strategy''.
