Capital Expenditure Budget 2008/09
The Council's Capital Programme
for 2008/09 comprises £1.595 million for non housing related
services and £1.547 million for the Housing Investment
Programme.
Major capital projects identified
for the year include Dual Use Projects (£0.6 million), E-Government
(£0.245 million) and ongoing spending on improving and refubishing
the Council's Housing Stock (£1.46 Million).
Capital Income Budget
2008/09
The Capital Programme is funded
through a mixture of funding sources ranging from the Sale of
Housing under the 'Right to Buy' options, Government grants, the
use of Council reserves and through the use of prudential
borrowing.
The largest element of funding
comes from Government in the form of the Major Repairs
Allowance.
