Accountancy Services
comprises of the Council's Strategic Finance function,
Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Treasury Management
and Exchequer Services.
The aim of Accountancy Service is
to provide high quality cost-effective financial services for the
District Council and provide corporate financial advice and support
to the various Units to help them achieve their objectives.
The Strategic Finance section
provides financial information to the general public and produces
the publications below, which are now available on line.
Current Information
One of our objectives is to
present financial information in the clearest and most effective
way (within the limitations imposed by Government legislation and
the accounting standards).
Financial Services are keen to
