Key Development Strategies and Plans

The Economic Development Strategy

The Economic Development Strategy is an annual strategy in line with requirements set out under section 35 of the 1989 Local Government Act. The strategy document details economic development projects as well as all economic activity in the District for which the council is directly responsible, or has a direct financial involvement in.

The Integrated Development Plan

The Richmondshire Integrated Development Plan (IDP) is the overarching document which the Council has to submit for approval by Government Office for Yorkshire and the Humber (GOYH) to enable the draw down of funding under the European Objective II Programme.
