The Community Office Team are here to help you!

We are here to help you on all aspects of Richmondshire District Council services including the completion of forms, advice with enquiries about any service including housing benefits, housing, planning applications, council tax and many more.
We will also ring other organisations on your behalf.

Richmondshire District Council and Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority have undertaken a multi skilling exercise that enables staff from either organisation to address any query.
This enables both services to be extended from Wednesday to Sunday during the Winter period.

NYCC Police Authority Reception Service:
We are now able to process vehicle and insurance documentation production on behalf of the Police.
We also record any lost and found items and provide a message service.

Citizen Advice Bureau

Debt and general advice is available every first and third Friday.

Housing and Council Tax Benefits

Advice is available on alternative Fridays 10am - 12 noon

We are able to scan original documents for claims and these are sent directly to the benefits team.

Due to essential staff training the Community office will be closed on the third Wednesday of every month
from 8:45am - 10:30am.
