The Council employs around 330 people and is structured into 4 Service Groups, reporting to the Executive Core, which comprises a Chief Executive and two Executive Directors.
Under a system of delegation, each Service Group is managed by an Assistant Director responsible for delivering the services under their control.
The Council's offices are located in Richmond Town in close
proximity to each other, with Swale House being the headquarters as
well as housing the Council Chamber. Other offices are Frenchgate
House, Springwell House and Friars Wynd. Our services are
delivered through our Community Offices at Richmond,
Colburn,
Leyburn,
Reeth,
Upper
