Street naming and numbering is the
registration of new streets and numbering of new dwellings. This
also includes new commercial premises, changing name of properties
and adding a name to a properties address.

There is a fee associated with the
above. Street Naming and Numbering Charges All properties must be
registered.
To apply, email or write to the
Information Technician enclosing an OS location plan and site
layout plan stating suggested names for consultation. For change of
name or adding a name a site layout plan is not necessary.

Street Name Signs
Street name signs for new developments are the responsibility of
the developer, replacement signs are the responsibility of the
Council.
