Car Parks and Annual Permits
The following car parks are provided by Richmondshire District Council:
Short Stay
Maximum 2 consecutive hours in any one day
Parking charge 50p per hour
Maximum £1.00

Richmond – Victoria Road (South)
Medium Stay
Maximum 4 consecutive hours in any one day
Parking charge 50p per hour
Maximum £2.00
Richmond – The Fosse
Long Stay
All day parking
Parking charge 50p per hour
Maximum £3.00 all day
Richmond – Nuns Close
Richmond – Yorke Square
Richmond – Round Howe
Richmond – Station Road (Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday only)
Leyburn
Hawes – Gayle Lane
Muker
Arkengarthdale – Langthwaite
Parking Permits
Weekly permits are available for £10 from the pay and display machines at any of the above car parks. These permits are valid for 7 days and are valid in all the Council's car parks, subject to local restrictions.
Annual permits are valid from 1 April to 31 March and are valid in all the Council's car parks, subject to local restrictions. The permits, which are currently £40 can be purchased from any of the Council's Community Offices at:
Zetland Square, Dundas Street, Richmond
Central Chambers, Leyburn
The Broadway, Colburn
Community Resource Centre, The Neukin, Hawes
Hudson House, Anvil Square, Reeth

Car parks within a Richmondshire District Council geographic area which are owned and operated by private companies. The local authority ensures that they operate in accordance with authority parking policies.
