Carers

Do you help to look after a relative, neighbour or friend? Perhaps you look after your own husband, wife, child or parent if they are sick or have a disability? You may not think of yourself as a "carer" but we use this word to describe someone of any age who looks after another person. This may be in your home, or in theirs; the person may be a child with disabilities or an adult.
You may not be the only person who helps to care, but if you are offering substantial help on a regular basis then you are a carer.
