Refuse and Recycling update Monday 18 January

COLLECTIONS GETTING BACK TO NORMAL

Refuse and recycling collections across Richmondshire will return to normal tomorrow (Tuesday January 19).

Crews will be collecting refuse today as usual - in Colburn, The Chase, and Brough with St Giles. And recycling collections of glass, cans, plastic bottles and paper are taking place in Richmond. 

A garden collection service of Christmas Trees and green bags is taking place today in Richmond, however no collections of garden bins are being made. The garden crew and vehicle have been redeployed to collect refuse from outstanding areas in:-

Spensley Place, Aldbrough St John

Outlying areas in Dalton and Newsham

Danby area

Outlaying areas in Jervaulx

Thornborough Crescent, Leyburn

North and South Walden

Marsett

Countersett

Stalling Busk

Low Whitaside

Clints

Eskeleth

Ravenseat

Moor Road, Grinton

Hurst

All of the above areas will have collections today and tomorrow.
