Mailing Preference
Service

We all know how frustrating it
can be picking up the post each day, only to find many items of
unsolicited junk mail, which we don't want, never asked for and
quite frankly don't need.
To help ease the problem,
Richmondshire District Council is encouraging residents to sign up
to the Mailing Preference Service. This free and simple
registration ensures that residents stop receiving junk
mail.
Anyone wanting to register with the Mailing Preference Service
can do so online at www.mpsonline.org.uk or by
telephoning 020 7291 3310.
Telephone Preference Service
The same problems exist with frustrating telephone calls in
the middle of your evening meal from someone wanting to sell you
double glazing. So why not sign up to the Telephone Preference
Service.
The Telephone Preference Service (TPS) helps you to make sure
your telephone number is no longer available to organisations,
including charities and voluntary organisations who may telephone
you with offers and information you do not wish to receive.
