There are two Household Waste Recycling Centres in
Richmondshire. These sites are operated by North Yorkshire
County Council and are located at :-
- Moor Road, Leyburn
- Gatherley Road, Brompton-on-Swale
These sites are for domestic waste only.
There are facilities for the safe disposal and/or recycling of the following items
Bulky items
Fridges/Freezers
Car Batteries
Household Batteries
Paper
Glass
Cans
Cardboard
Textiles
Electrical items
Garden Waste
Car Tyres
Fluorescent/Energy saving lightbulbs
General Rubbish
