The Council operates a wide range of collection schemes
including collection of residual household waste using either a
kerbside grey bin collection or a back door collection depending
where you live, a blue bag kerbside recycling collection of
paper only, a green box kerbside collection of glass and cans and a
kerbside collection of garden waste.
Many of these services commenced or were expanded in 2005, and
although not all households receive all services, most receive at
least one service. We are working hard to expand all services
across the district. If you are not currently receiving any or all
of these services you should contact your local District Councillor
to make your views known.
