Other conditions can be written into a tenancy agreement. These details conditions cannot diminish the statutory rights of the tenant, but they may specify how the tenant could deal with the following sorts of issues:
- Lodgers
- Passing on the tenancy
- Pets, smoking, guests
- Sub-letting
A tenancy agreement should be read in detail before it is signed. Tenants should satisfy themselves that they can live with the details of the agreement.
This page will be developed to provide private sector landlords and tenants in Richmondshire with useful information.
