Some children find it much harder to learn than others and
need extra help. They have "special educational needs".
North Yorkshire Education Service provides a wide variety of
specialist support and aims to ensure that all children and young
people have access to educational provision which is appropriate to
their special educational needs. This will enable them to raise
achievements and develop their full potential. However, we can only
achieve this through working in partnership with parents, pupils,
schools and other relevant agencies such as health and social
services.
