The Countryside Service is not part of Richmondshire
District Council. The service is adminstered and provided by North
Yorkshire County Council and helps to deliver one of North
Yorkshire County Council's key objectives:
"Looking after our heritage and our environment – in our
countryside and our towns and villages".
