Welcome to PublicAccess – Richmondshire District
Council's online planning application service. PublicAccess
allows you to view details of applications that have been submitted
to the Council for consideration and determination. All the
information comes directly from the Council's planning application
database that is updated many times each working day.
You can:
- Monitor the progress of an application;
- View plans & documents on the 'Associated Documents'
tab;
- Submit comments about an application;
- Search a weekly list of applications and decisions;
- See whether an appeal has been lodged and any appeal
decisions;
- Research details of historic applications;
- View property details by reference to a map.
The database does not include full details of applications
within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The National Park
Authority is the Planning Authority for that area and you should
contact them at http://www.yorkshiredales.org.uk
for full details of applications within their area.
Details of previous planning applications currently exist from
2000. We are working towards adding documents and plans submitted
with applications that you will be able to view under the
'associated documents' tab.
The PublicAccess service has been designed to be very simple to
use. Online help is available on all screens. We would
welcome your views on this service, how easy you find it to use or
how it might be developed in the future.
Copyright
Planning application information submitted to the Council is
protected by the Copyright Acts (Section 47, 1988 Act). You
may only use material which is downloaded and/or printed for
consultation purposes, to compare current applications with
previous schemes and to check whether developments have been
completed in accordance with approved plans. Further copies
must not be made without prior permission of the copyright
owner.
Accuracy of information
Whilst every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of data,
the planning information contained within the site is at present
incomplete and must not be used as a substitute for carrying out a
formal 'Land Charge Search'. This includes details of
historic applications and constraints on a particular site.
Plans are frequently amended; please remember that if you print off
a map there maybe a newer version available at a later date.
