Introduction
The
Planning Policy Team is
responsible for preparing and implementing the statutory Local
Development Plans for the that part of the District outside of the
Yorkshire Dales National Park. Local Plans are used to assess
future planning applications.
The Development Management Team is responsible for the
Council's principal functions in regulating the development of the
District as well as Conservation and Regeneration.
