Make Payments On-line with BillPay
Richmondshire District Council and Santander Billpay have
joined forces to enable you to pay your council bills online.
The service is provided by BillPay on behalf of the council, and is
available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
By using your debit card - (Switch or Delta) whichever bank or
building society you use, you can make payments for the
following;
- Council Tax
- National Non-Domestic Rates
- Rents
- Invoices
The service requires you to register with Billpay who will issue
you with a username and password.
You then have to input your account number such as C123456/01 as it
is printed on your bill for each type of payment you will use.
If your Council Tax/Business Rates account number starts with a
'4' or a '7', you currently cannot pay using this method until
Santander update the Billpay service. We hope to have this facility
updated very soon, and apologise for any inconvenience.

Please Note:
All online payments are subject to authorisation and you should
allow four working days for it to be credited against your
bill.
If you experience any problems using this service please call the
Billpay Help Desk on (0151) 966 3125. This service is not operated
by Richmondshire District Council and is available from 9.00 am to
5.00 pm Monday to Friday.
