Residents in the Dales village of West Witton
are being invited to check out low cost housing options.
Richmondshire District Council is holding a
‘drop in’ affordable housing open day in the village later this
month.
There will be information on low cost housing
in the district. And officers from both the Council and the
Yorkshire Dales National Park will be on hand to answer questions
and discuss the issue.
Residents will also be given the chance to
give their comments on the future housing needs within West
Witton.
“We are keen to ensure that all opportunities
for providing affordable housing for local people are explored,”
said Councillor Peter Wood, Housing Spokesperson.
“It is vital that we provide affordable home
in village settings to ensure that local people can continue to
live there – I look forward to speaking to the residents of West
Witton and hearing their views.”
The drop in sessions takes place at West
Witton Village Hall on Thursday September 30 from 2.30 - 7pm.Light
refreshments will be available.
