Richmondshire Leisure Trust has passed
its annual assessment with flying colours.
To remain as an Approved Training Centre (ATC)
the trust has to undergo the ‘IQL UK Royal Life Saving Society and
QLM’ assessment every year.
The assessors check that training records and
training logs are up to date, lifeguard training and equipment is
up to standard and make sure that lifeguards are competent in their
skills and knowledge.
“This year the assessors determined that no
improvements or recommendations could be made,” said Matt Prosser,
Sports Development Co-ordinator.
“This is a credit to the trust and its
employees and recognises the high standards delivered by the trust
in operating the pool and leisure facilities.”
