Richmondshire’s two Tourist
Information Centres have new winter opening hours.
From the beginning of this month (November 1)
the centres in Richmond and Leyburn are open from 9.30am to 4.30pm
Monday to Saturday. Leyburn closes for lunch from
12noon to 1pm and Richmond from 1 – 2pm.
The TICs will resume opening all day and
Sundays from April 16, 2011 - the start of the summer
season.
Both centres are also currently looking for
local people who have local knowledge of the area and its
attractions and have a few hours to spare as a volunteer.
