Refuse collections across Hambleton and Richmondshire
are taking place as normal today (Nov 30).
However the public sector strike has led to the cancellation of
recycling collections in Hambleton. Householders due for a
collection today are asked to place their blue boxes and bags out
on Saturday instead.
"Services are reduced today but all our offices open and we ask
that residents bear with us," said Chief Executive, Peter
Simpson.
"In Hambleton we had to make the decision to suspend recycling
collections in order for the operatives working that day to
concentrate on collecting the black bins. To keep any disruption to
the minimum we will catch up on the days recycling collections on
Saturday."
