One of Richmondshire District Council’s officers has
been singled out for national praise.

Local land charges officer, Eileen McMullan has received a
special tribute award for her work in the industry.
She was honoured at the 2011 Land Data Local Land Charges
Industry Awards which celebrate the work and achievements of local
land charges teams around the country and give recognition to local
authorities that are playing a key role in modernising and shaping
the future of the industry.
Eileen’s award recognises someone who in the
eyes of the Past Local Land Charges Institute (LLCI) Presidents,
has worked unselfishly and unstintingly to encourage and support
others within the Local Land Charges industry.
Eileen - who has worked for the council for 19
years - was presented with her award by journalist and media
commentator Eve Pollard.
“We are delighted that Eileen has received
this recognition for all her hard work over the years,” said
Councillor Fleur Butler, Leader of Richmondshire District
Council. “The award is well deserved and recognises the hard
work and commitment that she has shown to the Institute and the
industry as a whole”.
