The exciting new sport of futsal comes
to Catterick this weekend.
Middlesbrough Futsal Club is at Catterick
Leisure Centre on Sunday (May 22) coaching children in the football
game. There will also be a kickabout for adults and an
exhibition game between FA Futsal League giants Middlesbrough and
newly promoted East Coast Futsal Club, from Scarborough.
The fun kicks off at 1pm when coaches - including England
international Jason Kilbride - take two separate sessions for
5-11 year olds and 11-16 year olds, followed by a series of short
adult matches from 1.45pm.
The exhibition game kicks off at 2.30pm.
All the sessions are fully booked but entry to watch is free and
spectators are encouraged to come along and find out how to get
involved.
Regular sessions will begin in Catterick soon and the open day will
be the chance to sign up for future coaching sessions, summer
courses and leagues for all age groups.
