The next in a series of estate
walkabouts take place in August – in Richmond and
Colburn.
Set up with the district’s Tenant Panel – and
following consultation with local council house tenants undertaken
through their newsletter ‘Grapevine’ – the walkabouts deal with
issues that make a difference on a local level.
Council officers, councillors and
tenants ‘walk’ the estates to identify and deal with problems – in
a bid to keep them clean, tidy and safe.
