The next in a series of estate walkabouts take place in August – in Richmond and Colburn.

Set up with the district’s Tenant Panel – and following consultation with local council house tenants undertaken through their newsletter ‘Grapevine’ – the walkabouts deal with issues that make a difference on a local level.

   Council officers, councillors and tenants ‘walk’ the estates to identify and deal with problems – in a bid to keep them clean, tidy and safe.

They take place in Richmond on:

Tuesday August 2

From play area at Whitcliffe Grange, walk to Reeth Road, Coronation Place, Whitcliffe Place, Whitcliffe Terrace, Willance Grove and Whitcliffe Grange

Tuesday August 9

From police station, walk to Alma Place, Olav Road, I’Anson Road, Frances Road, Eastfield Road, Tudor Road and Earl Edwin Drive

Tuesday August 23

From entrance to St Hilary Close, walk St Hilary Close, Quakers Lane, Victoria Road, Newbiggin, Thornhills, Allans Court, Temple Court, Bridge Terrace, St James Chapel Wynd, Tower Street, Millgate, Frenchgate, Church Wynd, St Agatha’s and Queens Court

And at Colburn on:

Thursday August 4

From Village Hall, walk to Colburn Lane, Constantine Avenue and Constantine Grove

Thursday August 11

From Oak Tree Court car park, walk to Forest Drive 18-50, Lawson Court, Wren Court, Masterman Court, Elm Tree Avenue, Walnut Avenue, Copperbeech Way and Evergreen Avenue Meadowfield Road and Grange Road

Thursday August 18

From Bramble Close bus stop, walk to Forest Drive 54-99, Bramble Close, Daisy Close, Beck Close, Watson Way, Traynor Square, Cottee Way, Rosa Court, Cherry Tree Way, Poppy Court, Orchid Court, Foxglove Court and Lavender Court

Thursday August 25

From Blackwell Court car park, walk Peppermint Drive, Blackwell Court, Carter Close, Highstead Way, Chester Walk, Pearson Close, Watermint Way, Blue Nile Way, Magpie Walk, Thistle Walk, Firefly Walk, Fourth Avenue and First Avenue
