Local people are being asked to
prioritise their community safety needs – and help plug any gaps in
provision.
As part of a major survey across Hambleton and
Richmondshire, residents and community groups are being given the
chance to comment on current work – as well as what should be done
in the future.
Members of the Hambleton and Richmondshire
Community Safety Partnerships are also hoping anyone interested in
taking part in focus groups, survey work or volunteering will come
forward.
The survey asks them to prioritise work on:
alcohol related crime and disorder; anti-social behaviour;
burglary; domestic abuse; hate crime; speeding; vehicle crime and
violent crime.
The results will be used to inform the
Community Safety Partnership Plans and local action plans for
2011/12.
The survey is being sent to a number of
multi-agency partners and organisations, community groups and
service users as well as being available from district council
offices in Richmond, Northallerton, Stokesley, Easingwold, Hawes,
Leyburn, Colburn and Reeth. It can also be
completed on line at http://www.richmondshire.gov.uk/surveys/csawareness/
